Workplace expert Acas has welcomed the launch of the government's industrial strategy.
The government has today published its industrial strategy, outlining its plans to support UK businesses over the next decade.
Acas Chief Executive Niall Mackenzie said:
"Acas welcomes the government's industrial strategy, which sets out concrete steps to improve UK industrial competitiveness and drive economic growth. Acas is committed to making working life better for everyone in Britain. We welcome the industrial strategy's focus on a strong workforce for strong growth, enhancing skills and access to talent.
"We urge the government to go further to ensure that good employment relations are at the heart of growth. Those businesses without meaningful employer-employee collaboration risk holding back their growth.
"Acas will be working closely with the government and our partners across the economy to ensure that our expertise can be best used to help employers and employees in this sector, and all Britain's workplaces."
