Annual report and accounts 2024 to 2025

Acas's services performed well during the financial year 2024 to 2025. We met or exceeded all our annual targets.

Highlights of this include:

  • reaching settlements – resolving 93% of collective conciliation disputes
  • finding resolutions – resolving 9 out of 10 potential employment tribunal claims notified to Acas without needing a tribunal hearing 
  • supporting customers – increasing the number of people we reach through training and advisory services by 78%
  • advising employers and employees – increasing visits to the Acas website by 11%
  • promoting mediation – training almost 300 mediators to resolve workplace issues
  • sharing expert research – publishing 12 pieces of research and analysis on workplace issues

Our year in numbers

Our expenditure was £64 million.

We continued to provide advice and training for employers and employees. There were:

  • 20.5 million visits to our website
  • 13.7 million visits to our advice
  • 594,000 calls to the Acas helpline
  • 1,900 training sessions delivered

We also continued to resolve disputes, handling:

  • 522 collective conciliations
  • 124,000 early conciliation notifications
