Individual and collective relations across the South East

Our conciliators have dealt with over 7800 Early Conciliation and Employment Tribunal claims from the South East and UK this past financial year.

How does it work? If you intend to make a tribunal claim you must notify Acas first (Early Conciliation). Acas also has a legal duty to offer conciliation when someone has made an employment tribunal claim.

The South East has also seen a big increase in those accessing our collective conciliation service. Collective conciliation provides a means whereby groups can be helped to reach a mutually acceptable settlement of their dispute.

Our conciliators are also experienced mediators. Mediation is particularly suitable when the aim is to maintain the employment relationship. It can be used at any stage in a dispute but is often most effective when used early on.
