Feedback from other employers who have used the Acas Helpline.

"As an SME we have often sought Acas support on employment and other legal issues. We have found the advisers on the Helpline particularly helpful. articulate, knowledgeable and most importantly they are able to be pragmatic, practical and down to earth. We never fail to be impressed with the calibre of staff at the other end of the telephone and would always recommend using Acas for particularly difficult or specific issues."

Director of a small/medium enterprise, Somerset

"I was given very clear advice. The adviser I spoke to was very patient and listened to all of my questions - sometimes you just need somebody to listen to what you might think are daft questions. The adviser ran through the advice and then was very patient as I repeated it all back to him. I wanted to make sure I had it perfectly because after all that is the point of calling Acas, to make sure that you get it right."

Practice Manager, GP surgery, Home Counties

"The advice I got from Acas helped enormously, I felt more confident about moving forward once I understood the legal background and what my staff were/weren't entitled to. The service was fantastic, clear and concise. I'd definitely use the Helpline again and would recommend it to other employers; I think it's the only Helpline where you can get free and impartial advice."

Manager, After School Day Care Centre, Scotland

"I have rung the Acas Helpline on a number of occasions and they provided me with clear and concise advice. I recently had a query about holiday entitlement for part time staff. The adviser explained everything really clearly and now I understand it fully I can apply the same principles when dealing with similar situations in the future."
