Acas, the employment relations service, believes having a workplace that values employee health and wellbeing can help organisations deal with a range of situations in the best way. Workplace bullying continues to be a problem and is damaging to both individuals and business.

The most recent in a series of surveys carried out by the employment relations service, Acas and the Glamorgan Business School, has found that despite the economic climate 40% of Welsh employers reported facing difficulties in recruiting some employees.
To complement its new Code of Practice on time off for trade union duties and activities, the Acas Council has recently agreed two new guides providing further information on the subject of time off for employee representatives.
