How do I check for availability on an event?

I can't find the course I am looking for?

Can the event be delivered in-house at my organisation?

Yes, all our events can be delivered in-house. For further information on this, please contact our Customer Services Team via email or by phone on 0300 123 1150.

Can I book from overseas?

Yes, we accept bookings from overseas and our usual terms and conditions apply.

Can I cancel my booking?

You can cancel your booking or transfer to an alternative session up to 14 days before the date of the event you have booked. If you are outside these terms we are not able to cancel or transfer your booking however we can accept a substitute delegate to attend on your behalf. Can I book an event as an individual?

Yes with the exception of our Certificate in Internal Workplace Mediation. This course is designed for individuals planning to act as a mediator within their own organisation and is not suitable for anyone planning to work as a freelance mediator. 

Payment

How do I pay?

There are three payment options, these are:

1) Online via Worldpay using credit or debit card.

2) By BACS transfer using the details below:

3) By cheque made payable to Acas and posted to Acas, The Cube, 123

    Albion Street, Leeds, LS2 8ER.

When will my payment be due?

Payment for your booking is due 30 days from the date of the invoice you will receive on booking, or prior to the event date, whichever is the earliest.

Do you offer discounts?

As Acas is a publicly funded entity, we operate a consistent pricing policy for all customers across all of our product ranges

Attending events

What is the dress code?

There is no prescribed dress code for our events; most delegates opt for smart-casual.

Is there any preparation for the event?

The majority of our events do not require any preparation. If any is required this is will be specified in the joining instructions you will receive on booking.

Is parking available?

If onsite parking is available this will be specified in the joining instructions you will receive on booking. Please note that where parking is available, charges may apply.

Is lunch provided?

Refreshments are provided on all events. Lunch is provided on all full day events. If you have any dietary requirements you would like us to be aware of, please contact our Customer Services Team via email or by phone on 0300 123 1150.

What if I have specific requirements?

To advise us of anything we can do to enable you to fully participate in the event, please contact our Customer Services Team via email or by phone on 0300 123 1150.

Do I gain CPD points for attending?

Our standard events don't attract CPD points however you will receive a certificate of attendance which you can include in your CPD evidence.

We occasionally run conferences which can attract CPD points. Where this applies it will be detailed on our website within the session outline for the event.

When should I book accommodation and travel?

If an event is cancelled we offer a full refund of the training session but not any other expenses. We aim to provide delegates with at least 7 days notice of an event being cancelled.
