Acas updated statement on Network Rail dispute

Following 30 hours of Acas talks from Friday to today (Monday 1 June), our updated statement on the Network Rail dispute is included below. 

Acas spokesperson said:

"After four days of intensive talks, Acas has helped Network Rail, RMT, TSSA and Unite formulate a set of revised proposals that the trades unions will now take away to consider. 

"Recognising this, the RMT has agreed to suspend the industrial action planned for this week and next."

The 30 hours of talks breaks down as:

6 hours of talks on Friday 29 May (from 1.30pm)
9 hours of talks on Saturday 30 May
11 hours of talks on Sunday 31 May
4 hours of talks today (Monday 1 June) (finished at 12.30pm).
