I want to try and be flexible during the World Cup but my workforce is predominantly male. What can I do?
Firstly, remember not all football fans are male! But if a large proportion of your staff have an interest in the World Cup there are a number of things you could do.
As some matches start at 5pm, you may be able to be more flexible with start and finish times. You could look at the possibility of bringing in a TV for the staff to watch during breaks or giving them the time to watch the match in between shifts.
Check your leave policy for staff wishing to take time off.
