Helen Bott - Training Manager/Senior Adviser
Helen has been with Acas since the dispute resolution changes in 2009, working as our training manager and senior adviser after starting her career with Acas on the helpline and then spending four years as a trainer. Helen is also a fully trained Acas conciliator.
She has vast experience in providing management and supervisory training to businesses across the East Midlands in subjects including discipline & grievance, absence management, communications and human resource management. Being an individual conciliator enabled Helen to bring a full range of experiences to her training role.
Prior to working for Acas, she spent almost 20 years working in management in the private sector, in both retail and hospitality, leading her teams to great successes and outstanding results.
These skills combined enable Helen to provide comprehensive training on both the legislative side of employment relations and the practical implementation of this when faced with those difficult daily challenges.
Helen is also an Associate member of The Institute of Training and Occupational Learning (ITOL).
