Acas conferences keep pace with the fast-changing workplace

Last year saw in some pretty big shake-ups in employment law to pensions, retirement, pay, and employment rights. The reforms are set to continue with further changes expected to parental leave, employment tribunal procedures and other wide-ranging measures contained in the Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Bill.

The pace of change is rapid, with new issues rising to the fore as major workplace priorities, such as the role of leadership, effective communication and employee voice in successful organisations; how to handle the risks and opportunities of social media; and how to maximise the potential offered by flexible working.

On March 7, all these issues and more are going to be discussed by leading figures in the employment relations world at the Acas Conference - Simplify TUPE in a day. The high-profile event, hosted by Ed Sweeney, Chair of Acas, will give delegates a unique opportunity to get to grips with the current employment relations landscape, mine the experiences of the speakers and network with other professionals.

This is just one of a number of upcoming Acas conferences, which cover topics as diverse of TUPE, dispute resolution and absence management.
