Sharing information with international employment relations agencies
The 8th International Employment Relations Agencies Conference and Symposium - shared challenges, common goals
Acas is pleased to be hosting the 8th Symposium of International Employment Agencies in Cardiff between 6 and 9 September 2011.
In an economically challenging era with globalisation and the growth of multinational companies, the Symposium will help to shape employment relations best practice worldwide. It will bring together Acas and its equivalent agencies from the USA, Canada, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Northern Ireland.
The Symposium's focus areas will be dispute resolution, workplace improvement and strategies for improved employee engagement, including the roles of trade unions and other employee bodies, employers and line managers.
Research conference
On 7 September, a one day conference, co-hosted with the Cardiff Business School, bought together senior representatives of the international dispute resolution agencies with other leading commentators in the employment relations field.
