Free equality and diversity surgery in Liverpool

Thursday 26 November 2009

Acas adviser, Steve Jennings, is holding the next in a series of free Equality and Diversity surgeries on 20 January at our Liverpool office.

At the 'surgery' Steve will advise you how to put together policies that can help you improve your image in the wider community, increase your chances of meeting diversity requirements when tendering for work and help you avoid discrimination complaints.

This event will be useful for you if you are unsure of the answers to the following questions. Are you confident your staff feel they work for a fair employer? Does your company have a culture where people know they will be treated with dignity and respect? Do your managers live the values of your equality and diversity policy?

If you already have an equality and diversity policy and would like a second opinion on it from an independent and impartial adviser then bring it with you or, even better, send it as an attachment when you reserve a place we can look at in advance.

To attend this forthcoming surgery or find out more about equality and diversity surgeries in 2010, contact manchesterevents@acas.org.uk to reserve your place.
