Acas appoints industrial relations expert to advise Lindsey Oil Refinery investigation
Acas has appointed Professor Gillian Morris, a barrister, to advise the Lindsey Oil Refinery investigation.
Gillian Morris is an expert in industrial relations problems and procedures and undertakes advisory work in employment, public employment and human rights law. She has been a member of the Acas Panel of Arbitrators since 2007 and has a number of other roles including Deputy Chairman of the Central Arbitration Committee, since 2000, and Chair of the NHS Pay Review Body.
John Taylor, Acas Chief Executive said, 'Gillian Morris is advising Acas on the legal issues around the contractual arrangements at the Lindsey oil refinery. Gillian has a wealth of knowledge and experience of workplace policies.'
The report will be made available to the parties in the next few days.
