Acas press statement: Grangemouth oil refinery dispute

Thursday 24 April 2008

At conciliation talks held at the offices of Acas over two days, 22and 23rd of April, although the parties have not come to an agreement, time has been spent addressing the issue of the safety and integrity of the Grangemouth site.

An agreement covering these issues has been reached for the period of the dispute. Acas has advised both the company and Unite that the opportunity to seek assistance of Acas to pursue an agreement has been offered.
